Episode 60 – Feeling Sick in the Present Moment

The Presence Projects presents episode 60 of the “Are You Being Present?” podcast series. Join host Paul Kerzner for an insightful discussion on the importance of being Present when feeling sick.

The title and topic of this episode is “Feeling Sick in the Present Moment” and was selected because feeling sick is an experience no human is absolved from here on Earth. It’s common for most people to become idle, waiting for the illness to pass, but these moments can be difficult if being Present isn’t a priority.

By waiting for health to return it becomes easy to slip out of the moment yearning for the future when all will be well but as Paul has discussed in previous podcasts the future is an illusion. Also, when people become sick, they often start thinking of all the other times they weren’t feeling well in the past and start ruminating which allows the ego to present a variety of triggers and Presence obstacles.

In this episode Paul explains how important it is to view sickness as an opportunity for Presence. By implementing different Presence tools, you can stay in a flow state where the illness will have a beginning, middle and end. Like with all things, there is an impermanence when it comes to being (and feeling sick) and Presence can be used in conjunction with other medications to provide relief.

If you, or someone you know, isn’t feeling well and wants to learn more about how being Present can help them feel better than this podcast will prove to be quite useful.

As always, it is advisable to listen to earlier podcasts that discuss other Presence tools that can be implemented to help shift into the Present Moment.
